What is Naturopathy
Naturopathy is a holistic healthcare modality that combines evidence-based medicine with traditional methods. It looks at the whole person not just the presenting symptoms in an effort to find the root cause of ill-health. The core beliefs underpinning naturopathy are the promotion of a healthy lifestyle through eating a well-balanced and nutrient dense diet, hydrating with clean fresh water, safe exposure to sunlight, regular exercise and stress management. The practice of naturopathy is based on these foundational principles:
- The healing power of nature
- First do no harm
- Find and treat the cause whenever possible not only the symptoms
- Treat the whole person
- Education and prevention
Your comprehensive initial consultation will include a thorough history of your health and presenting complaint. We utilise clinical diagnostic tools such as iridology, tongue and nail analysis, blood and allergy tests. The results of our investigations will inform your individualised treatment plan and which modalities are best suited to treat your condition.
Naturopathy focuses on the body’s capacity to heal itself and identifies and treats the cause of the dis-ease. Educating, empowering and supporting patients through their health journey enables patients to understand their ailments and gives them the tools to get better.
ALL Naturopath is an ANPA accredited clinic and we work alongside your GP or other health professional to offer you the best patient-centred care.
